Project Requirements

Project failure is often linked to the quality of requirements and the effective management of those requirements. Even though it is widely accepted that effective requirements development and management are key for success, team members, project managers and organizations often struggle with the requirements process. This course provides participants with a framework and strategy for developing and managing project requirements to maximize the likelihood of successful projects.

Risk Management- Making it Relevant! 

At first blush, one might wonder why we'd ever use this subject title ... as one of the nine Knowledge Areas called out in the PMBOK, Project Risk Management has to be relevant, right? That's true, but as project managers, you've all seen (and maybe lived through) instances where risk management either never truly happens on a project, or is limited to generation of a required "risk analysis" slide that never really plays a part in the life of a project. In this session, we'll discuss how to make Risk Management a truly relevant component of your successful project, including how to structure a risk analysis for meaningful results and to effectively implement risk mitigation strategies.
