Please join us from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8th 2012 for our yearly offsite tour. This year we will be touring FEEDING AMERICA TAMPA BAY, located in Ybor City, Tampa, Florida.
Across the country, one in six people struggles with hunger. Feeding America Tampa Bay provides food to over 400,000 people in our 10 county service area of West Central Florida. The food bank is a distributor and central supply point that procures food, sorts it, stores it, and efficiently matches it to those in need. Feeding America Tampa Bay also provide food for shelters, residential group homes, and the Kids Café after-school program. A Feeding America representative will provide us with a tour of their facility and information on their outstanding organization.
