Beyond the Toolbox
This talk examines three important aspects of Program Management: Leadership, Customer Confidence and Growth. Elements of each topic will be discussed, and appropriate tools will be highlighted. Anecdotal examples will be related to demonstrate points. The listener will take away an understanding of what it takes to manage very large programs.
About Our Speaker:
Jim Montante holds a BS in Physics from Buffalo State University College, a Masters in Solid State Physics from USF and an MBA from Florida Tech.
He is a 6 Sigma Black Belt and a PMP. He is a former officer for the Suncoast Chapter of PMI.
Mr. Montante currently works at Honeywell as a Senior Program Manager. He manages a collection of programs for TRIDENT, which total $15M in yearly sales. TRIDENT is the cornerstone of our nation's nuclear defense and is the weapon widely attributed with bringing the cold war to an end.
In the past 14 years he managed several high profile satellite programs, including the Earth Observing System and Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS).
